When Toma goes to work the day after his photoshoot in Glamourous with Ryo hits the stands, senpais come up to him and tell him how sexy it was, a job well done. Matsujun seeks him out to pat him on the back (“You did better than Akanishi-kun ever does,”), and Subaru, who just leers, saves him from Yokoyama The Kissing Monster but only after the latter manages to grab a handful of Toma’s ass.

Yamapi just frowns slightly at him and sidles up to him.

“I saw the shoot,” Yamapi mumbles, glaring at people who he deems to have indecent agendas coming up to greet them as they walk shoulder-to-shoulder through the halls. Toma doesn’t seem to notice.

“Did you like it?” he asks, rather oblivious while returning Nino’s hug – the other man having thrown skinny arms around his neck the moment they met around the corner. Yamapi feels like scratching Nino’s face. He still owes him.

“Yea,” he answers, voice a little weird from trying not to scream at Nino, but Toma totally misses the discomfort in his voice. “ I guess.”

When his manager finally hunts him down and drags him back into NEWS’ dressing room – with Toma waving a cheerful goodbye in the distance – Ryo takes one look at Yamapi’s face and bursts out laughing.

It’s still February and the weather is beginning to warm up, so a short walk from the train station to Yamapi’s new apartment leaves them sweating under their winter jackets. They strip them off hastily when they enter the heated apartment, throwing them carelessly on the couch.

“Ah~ so tired!” Toma stretches, and Yamapi sees a flash of the pale skin of his stomach.

“Do you have an extra towel? I want to use your shower.” He begins to undo the buttons on his white shirt, and Yamapi tries not to notice the band of his underwear peeking at him.

“Here,” he produces a fluffy towel from the closet and tosses it at the older man, all the while keeping his eyes averted.

There is a pause in response, so Yamapi glances up to see Toma with a hand against the towel, the fluffy cloth somehow having landed on his head, looking up at him with a question in his eyes.

“Are you alright?”

“What? Why wouldn’t I be?” Yamapi mumbles, quickly shifting his eyes from where they came to rest on his best friend’s navel to the ground, and he turns quickly and his heel to try and hide the flush he knows is rising to his face.

“You’ve been staring at me strangely all day.” There is a sudden rush of warm air in his ear that takes out his knees, and Yamapi almost jumps a foot into the air as Toma spins him around so they are eye-to-eye. Toma’s bright eyes stare curiously into his, pale pink lips curled slightly, the arch of his nose so close –

Something in Yamapi snaps and he closes the short distance between them. Toma makes a small startled noise; hands flying up to grasp the sides of his t-shirt as Yamapi backs him into the bathroom, almost stumbling over things on the floor.

Toma gasps and breaks the kiss for air when Yamapi presses him against the porcelain sink, the cold seeping through the thin cotton of his shirt to raise goosebumps on his skin. “Wait, wait – you were jealous?” He gapes a little in surprise at Yamapi, and their panting echoes in the confined space of the bathroom.

“Mmmm,” Yamapi presses his hips forward impatiently, leaning forward for another quick kiss to shut him up. His hands fumble with the fastenings of Toma’s black pants as he bends the man backwards over the sink, their noses just touching, hot breath rushing over their faces. He dips down slightly to drag his teeth over Toma’s bottom lip as he slips his hand between his best friend legs, and the man lets out a groan and shudders beneath him.

“I was not jealous,” Yamapi hisses as he sinks to his knees, pulling Toma’s underwear with him, all the while running his hand over the length of Toma’s cock.

“You, you – lie –” the last syllable is dragged out into a moan as Toma throws his head back
